From Chiang Mai to Hariphunchai
Your day begins with a 7:00 AM hotel pick-up in Chiang Mai Old Town and selected areas before heading to Lamphun, where history, legends, and local flavors await. Along the way, visit Khun Tan Tunnel and the charming Tha Chomphu White Bridge, two iconic landmarks full of character and story. The journey also includes a brunch stop with your first local tasting bite to begin the food experience.
After brunch, we visit Wat Phra That Hariphunchai, Lamphun’s most important temple, known for its golden chedi, beautiful Lanna architecture, and peaceful atmosphere. We then continue to the Hariphunchai National Museum to learn more about the ancient kingdom through its historical artifacts, followed by a second local tasting bite. In the afternoon, the journey continues to Wat Chamadevi (Wat Ku Kut), a remarkable temple famous for its rare tiered chedi and its connection to Queen Chamathewi.

Final Cultural Highlights
We also visit the Phra Nang Chamathewi Monument to learn more about the queen whose legacy still shapes Lamphun today, while enjoying several more local tasting bites along the way. The journey continues to Wat San Pa Yang Luang and Ku Chang Ku Ma, two meaningful heritage sites that offer a deeper look into Lamphun’s local history and culture. After the final stop, we return to Chiang Mai in the afternoon.
